Poughkeepsie man arrested for felony DWI in Lagrange

PRESS RELEASE
Lagrange, New York – On October 18, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Allan P. Forbes, age 28, of Poughkeepsie, for Aggravated DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree, both class E felonies, and Operating Without an Interlock Device, a class A misdemeanor.

On October 18, 2018, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Troopers responded to a Dutchess County 911 complaint of an erratic operator on Noxon Road in the town of Lagrange.  Troopers located and then conducted a traffic stop on the erratic vehicle for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  An investigation found Forbes was operating while intoxicated without an interlock device, a prior DWI conviction within ten years, and a suspended license.

Forbes was arraigned before the town of Union Vale Court and, remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.  Forbes is next scheduled to appear before the town of Lagrange Court on October 23, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.
