Massachusetts woman arrested for DWI with a child in the vehicle in New Lebanon

New Lebanon, New York – On October 17, 2018, the New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks arrested Melissa J. Hoisington, age 45, of Pittsfield, MA, for Aggravated DWI, Leandra’s Law, a class E felony.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2001 GMC Sierra on State Route 20 for several violations of the vehicle and traffic law. An investigation determined Hoisington was operating while her ability was impaired with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle.
Hoisington was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of New Lebanon Court on October 25, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.
