Millerton – Katherine Lee McNeil McCauley, a resident of Millerton, New York; suddenly, passed away on the morning of Tuesday the 9th of October 2018.
Katherine was the daughter of the late Albert Raymond and Sandra Lee (Hall) McNeil formerly of Hyde Park, New York. Born May 16th, 1962. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Albert and Steven McNeil. She is the oldest of two surviving siblings, Michael and Melissa.
She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and grandmother. Often, she looked after the wellbeing of others before herself. Katherine received her LPN from B.O.C.E’s and served in several nursing facilities and roles for over 20 years.
She was an active member of her community when her children were younger. Ever present at every game to show her support for her children and their teammates. Katherine volunteered within several leagues and clubs in the surrounding area in order to be a better public servant.
Recently, she had started a crochet and craft business “Wee Little Bunny Boutique” which was often seen at local craft shows, festivals, and county fairs across the Tri- State area. Her loving touch and care of her items were renowned and made with love.
She is survived by her husband Nelson McCauley, her children Jessica Lee Nocera and Calvin Lawrence, and her grandson Matthew Anthony Nocera.
A time of sharing in memorial of Katherine’s life will be held at The Funeral Home in Pine Plains, New York on Thursday, October 18th from 12 pm — 2 pm.
