Brewster man arrested for burglary in North Salem

North Salem, New York – On October 8, 2018, the New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested Carlos H. Lopez, age 24, of Brewster, NY, for Burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Troopers responded to Route 22 in the town of North Salem on October 8, 2018, at approximately 7:55 p.m., for a report of an intruder in a house.  Troopers found and arrested Lopez who broke into the residence.  Lopez also damaged the kitchen stove and a window while breaking into the residence.

Lopez was arraigned before the town of North Salem Court, and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.  Lopez was next scheduled to appear before the Court on October 15, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
