Poughkeepsie man arrested for shoplifting

PRESS RELEASE
Wappinger, New York – On September 26, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Michael A. Horowitz, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, for Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony.

Troopers responded to BJ’s Wholesale Store on Route 9 in the town of Wappinger in May of 2018 for a report of a larceny.  Two vacuums and a Dell Desktop computer were stolen totaling over $1,599.99 in value.  After four months of investigation Horowitz was positively identified as the suspect, and subsequently arrested.

Horowitz was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Wappinger Court on October 4, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
