Beacon man arrested for possession of child pornography

Beacon, New York – On September 19, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Alfred Tchorznicki Jr., age 51, of Beacon, for Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony.
On September 17, 2018, the New York State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force forwarded several tips to Investigators at SP Wappinger regarding the possible possession of images containing the sexual performance of a child. Continued investigation led to the arrest of Tchorznicki.
Tchorznicki was arraigned before the city of Beacon Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Tchorznicki is next scheduled to appear before the Court on September 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
