The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Litchfield County in northern Connecticut...
  Central Dutchess County in east central New York...

* Until 1230 PM EDT.

* At 925 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain with some
  embedded thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the
  advisory area. One to two inches of rain have already fallen, with
  additional rainfall expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Torrington, Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, Pleasant Valley, Amenia, Kent,
  Sharon, Pine Plains, Millbrook, Litchfield, Millerton, Northwest
  Harwinton, Stanfordville, Gaylordsville, Falls Village, Staatsburg,
  New Preston, Cornwall Bridge, Winsted and Dover Plains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
