1199SEIU Endorses Antonio Delgado for Congress in NY-19
Kingston, NY – The Delgado for Congress campaign is proud to announce that 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East has endorsed Antonio Delgado for Congress in New York’s 19th congressional district. 1199SEIU, the largest healthcare union in the nation, represents the rights of caregivers working in hospitals, nursing homes, home care, clinics, pharmacies and all other areas of the healthcare industry.
Today, August 13, at 2:30 p.m., Antonio will meet with 1199SEIU members, employees of the Livingston Hills Nursing Home in Hudson, who are fighting to protect their wages as well as maintain their healthcare and pension benefits. Antonio will hear firsthand from a group of healthcare employees about the obstacles they are facing in their struggle to earn a livable wage and keep their hard-earned benefits.
