Fat City Rockers To Play At Pawling’s “Music By The Lake” On July 28

On Saturday, July 28, Pawling’s “Music By The Lake” will present a free concert featuring the band “Fat City Rockers”.

What do you get when you mix rockabilly with surf music, and throw in some rocking blues? You get “Fat City Rockers”, of course! Making their first appearance at “Music By The Lake”, “Fat City Rockers” is a high-energy, three piece group who have been rocking and swinging the tri-state area for years. Covering tunes by artists such as The Stray Cats, Brian Setzer, Bo Diddley, The Ventures, The Shadows, Bill Haley & The Comets, Elvis, Eddie Cochran, The Coasters, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others, the band appeals to a wide age group. Their mission is to play songs that the older generations haven’t heard in years, while also introducing younger listeners to this awesome music.

Band members are guitarist Tim Merrigan (strummin’ and a croonin’), bassist Seth Lipscher (slappin’ and a yellin’), and drummer Chris Mannel (bangin’ and a hollerin’).

“Music By The Lake” concerts are held on Saturdays at 6:00pm at the Pavilion at Lakeside Park. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in the adjoining Lathrop building at Lakeside Park. As always, all concerts are FREE!

So all you cool cats and kittens, bring your picnic baskets, coolers, blankets and folding chairs, and join us on July 28 at 6pm and rock the night away with the “Fat City Rockers”.
