Obituary, Anita Tinkler

Anita Tinkler, a resident of Pawling since 1978, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT at the age of 80.

Born in Brooklyn on January 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Louise (Tralau) Wagner, and wife of the late Arthur Tinkler who passed away in 2012.

Anita was a stay-at-home mom, who enjoyed bargain hunting at tag sales and flea markets and was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church of Pawling.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Muller and husband, Scott, of Verbank, NY; her sister, Carole Wagner and husband Al Schwendtner of Manhattan; and two granddaughters, Samantha and Kaitlyn Muller, both of Verbank.  In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Robert Wagner.

Friends may pay their respects at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Saturday, July 14th from 11 AM – 1 PM, during which time a service will be conducted by Pastor Benke of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brooklyn.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
