State Police in New Lebanon release arrests leading up to Disc Jam in Stephentown

New Lebanon, New York – On June 7, 2018, the New York State Police from the New Lebanon barracks and SP Livingston Bureau of Criminal Investigation made multiple drug possession arrests in the towns of New Lebanon and Stephentown, Rensselaer County, NY, as traffic in the area increased leading up to the Disc Jam festival in Stephentown.

The following subjects were arrested all following vehicle and traffic stops initiated for violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law:

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Joseph A. Baumgarten, age 25, of Manchester, CT, was arrested for two counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, class A misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Baumgarten was in possession of approximately 53.9 grams of marijuana oil, 0.8 grams of marijuana wax, and 16.6 grams of marijuana.  Baumgarten was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the New Lebanon Court at a later date.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Justin M. Timoney, age 30, of Haverhill, MA, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 4^th degree, and Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, both class A misdemeanors.  An investigation discovered Timoney was in possession of approximately 5.2 ounces of marijuana, and 3 vials of liquid THC.  Timoney was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the New Lebanon Court at a later date.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Shane M. Spillenger, age 32, of Albany, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5^th degree, a class D felony, four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, class A misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Spillenger was in possession of approximately 1.1 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of marijuana oil, 3.2 grams of hydrocodone pills, 0.5 grams of alprazolam, 1 gram of clonazepam, and 15.4 grams of marijuana.  Spillenger was arraigned before the town of New Lebanon Court and released on his own recognizance.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 20, Charles J. Dougherty, age 26, of Kingston, MA, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2^nd degree, a class A-II felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4^th degree, a class C felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Dougherty was in possession of approximately 2.1 grams of LSD, 4.2 grams of cocaine, and a small amount of marijuana.  Dougherty was arraigned before the town of New Lebanon Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 20, James M. Dietrichson, age 21, of Middle Island, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, a class A misdemeanor.  Investigation found Dietrichson was in possession of approximately 10.5 grams of marijuana oil.  Dietrichson was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the New Lebanon Court at a later date.

 
In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Cherie Blier, age 30, of East Wareham, MA, for four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, all class A misdemeanors, and Michael H. Otto, age 38, of North Attleborough, MA, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Blier was in possession of approximately 0.8 grams of ketamine, 1 Dextroamphetamine pill, a partial Adderall pill, and 4 grams of liquid marijuana.  Otto was found with approximately 5 grams of liquid marijuana oil, 13.3 grams of marijuana, and 6 packs of marijuana candy.  Both subjects were released with appearance tickets returnable to New Lebanon Court at a later date.

  
In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Frank M. Abadie, age 32, Dennis L. Abadie, age 24, both of Upper Darby, PA, and Alison R. Diorio, age 26, of Newtown Square, PA, were arrested for Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 3^rd degree, a B felony, and Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 4^thdegree, a class C felony, and Criminal Possession of Marihuana, a class B misdemeanor.  An investigation found them to be in possession of approximately 21.7 grams of ecstasy (MDMA), 0.4 grams of LSD, and 56.8 grams of marijuana.  All three subjects were arraigned before the town of New Lebanon Court.  Frank and Dennis Abadie were both remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail of $30,000 bond.  Alison Diorio was remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Nathan J. Galloway, age 23, of Framingham, MA, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation. An investigation discovered Galloway was in possession of approximately 7 hits of LSD, and 23.7 grams of marijuana.  Galloway was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the town of New Lebanon Court and a later date.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 7, 2018, on State Route 22, Ashley L. Pollock, age 23, of North Kingston, RI, was arrested for three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, all class A misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Pollock was in possession of approximately 200 milligrams of LSD, one syringe containing marijuana oil, 1 gram of marijuana wax, and 22.7 grams of marijuana.  Pollock was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the town of New Lebanon Court at a later date.

 
In the town of Stephentown on June 8, 2018, on State Route 22, Brendan N. Donovan, age 26, of Sand Lake, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4^th degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5^th degree, a class D felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.  Conor D. Hogan, age 24, of Nassau, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^thdegree, a class A misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.  An investigation discovered approximately 3.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 2.9 grams of ketamine, and 30.6 grams of marijuana.  Hogan was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Stephentown on a later date.  Donovan was arraigned before the town of Stephentown Court and released to the supervision of probation.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 8, 2018, on State Route 20, Erika W. Taylor, age 33, of New Fairfield, CT, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Taylor was in possession of approximately 2 grams of marijuana wax and 3.6 grams of marijuana.  Taylor was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of New Lebanon Court at a later date.

 
In the town of New Lebanon on June 8, 2018, on State Route 22, Danielle R. Janof, age 22, of Trumbull, CT, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  Kathia M. Bailey, age 23, of West Palm Beach, FL, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree.  An investigation found Janof was in possession of approximately 13.3 grams of liquid marijuana and 0.8 grams of marijuana.  Bailey possessed approximately 17 grams of marijuana oil.  Both subjects were issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of New Lebanon at a later date.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 8, 2018, on State Route 22, Jonathan Menendez Lafata, age 35, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4^th degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5^th degree with intent to sell, a class D felony, Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 2^nd degree, a class D felony, and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.  An investigation discovered Menendez Lafata was in possession of approximately 4.5 grams of ketamine, 165.8 grams of liquid marijuana, over 76 ounces of marijuana, and was operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level over 0.18 percent.  Menendez Lafata was arraigned before the town of New Lebanon Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

In the town of New Lebanon on June 8, 2018, on State Route 22, Christopher E. Delorenzo, age 26, of Brookline, MA, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 2^nd degree, a class D felony, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, class A misdemeanors, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.  An investigation discovered Delorenzo was in possession of approximately 70 ounces of marijuana cookies, 4.4 grams of marijuana wax, and one vial of liquid marijuana.  Delorenzo was arraigned before the town of New Lebanon Court and released on $500 cash bail.
