Troop K – On June 13, 2018, Major Robert C. Gregory the Troop K Commander congratulated Sergeant/Station Commander Craig A. Hernandez on his retirement after 24 years of selfless and dedicated service to both the citizens of New York and the Division of State Police.
Sergeant S/C Hernandez started his career as a Trooper in 1993 first assigned to Troop L SP Riverhead. He then transferred to Troop K serving at the Fishkill, Wappinger, Cold Spring, and finally Rhinebeck barracks. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2009, and stationed at SP Somers. Later he transferred back to SP Wappinger, and was finally promoted to Station Commander of SP East Fishkill in 2014.
