This is what sharing services, intelligence, and personnel looks like. Three agencies – the Hudson Police Department, New York State Police, and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office – all came together seamlessly, to bring the suspect involved in the murder of this 19-year-old kid into custody. Police work isn’t always pretty. We deal with a lot of very violent and gruesome incidents, but we come together with whatever force and cooperation necessary to resolve the situation and to ensure the community is safe. My prayers and sympathies are with this young man’s family.
