Ossining man arrested for fondling himself in front of children – Police seek additional information

PRESS RELEASE

Cortlandt, New York – On June 9, 2018, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jorge L. Valdovinos, age 38, of Ossining, NY, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, and Public Lewdness, a class B misdemeanor.

On Friday, June 8, 2018, the New York State Police at Cortlandt received a complaint of a suspicious person at the Kohl’s Store located at 3008 East Main Street in the Town of Cortlandt. Loss Prevention advised that the above defendant was observed entering the store on several occasions, he proceeded immediately to the children’s shoes department then appeared to be touching his genitalia over his pants while near children.  Later that evening he returned to the store and exposed himself to children again.  Witnesses were able to obtain and license plate, and the suspect was identified as Valdovinos.

Valdovinos was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or bond.
