Hyde Park, New York – On June 14, 2018, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested David E Rundall, age 70, of Hyde Park, for Grand Larceny in the 3rddegree, a class D felony.

An investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Central Hudson Gas and Electric Company where it was determined that Rundall had been stealing power via an underground electric bypass designed to significantly understate his utility bills.

Rundall was arraigned before the town of Hyde Park Court and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to appear in Hyde Park Court on June 21, 2018.

Citizens are reminded that thefts of utilities are criminal in nature, and are investigated.
