Ellenville man arrested for larceny in Wappinger

PRESS RELEASE

Wappinger, New York – On June 14, 2018, the New York State from the Wappinger barracks arrested John E. Keelyn, age 38, of Ellenville, New York, for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E felony.

An investigation revealed that in June of 2017, Keelyn took over $1,000 worth of merchandise from a local vendor without paying for it.

Keelyn was arraigned at the Village of Wappingers Falls Court, and he was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail. Keelyn’s next appearance was scheduled for June 19, 2018, at 5:30 p.m., before the town of Wappinger Court.
