State Police in Somers investigate fatal ATV crash

Somers, New York – June 15, 2018, the New York State Police from the Somers barracks are investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle crash that occurred on Blackberry Hill Road in the town of Somers.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., an all-terrain vehicle operated by Reece Ferrara, age 15, of Somers, struck a concrete mailbox pillar. Ferrara was ejected from the vehicle, and transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
