Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Roe Jan Ramble Bike Tour. It is a non-competitive ride perfect for both the casual as well as the committed cyclist. Whether you enjoy a simple ride with your family, or you are an experienced dedicated cyclist, the Ramble offers something for everyone.

The event consists of 4 routes on lightly traveled public roads through lovely farmland, rolling hills, and picturesque hamlets.

10 mile Route: An easy ride, perfect for families and the casual cyclist. Mostly flat with a couple of gentle hills through the Town of Copake and surrounding countryside.

25 mile Route: A pleasant easy to moderate ride with rolling hills, a couple more challenging inclines, and curving vistas through Copake and Ancram. Charming hamlets, great views of the Taconic Mountains and the farms of the Roe Jan area.

35 mile Route: A moderate to challenging ride, with hills and vistas that will captivate you and inspire. Includes a ride on the newly completed sections of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail between Copake and Hillsdale. With twisting curves and moderate to difficult climbs, this ride is considered by local cyclists as one of the most scenic.

50 mile Route: For the committed cyclist who wants the full experience, this ride combines the 25-mile route with the last 25 miles of the 35-mile route. If you love cycling, you’ll definitely want to do this one!

The 25 and 35-mile Routes each have one rest stop with food, water, and restrooms. The 50-mile route has two.
