Amenia – Patrick Joseph Moloney, 82, a longtime area resident died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Mr. Moloney was a supervisor for New York State Electric and Gas for nearly 40 years.
Born August 8, 1935 in Tulla, County Clare, Ireland, he was the son of the late Patrick and Catherine (Broderick) Moloney. Patrick attended and graduated high school in New York and served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1953-1956 during the Korean Conflict. He married the love of his life Winifred Lynch and they shared many happy years together traveling and camping and spending time with their family. Mrs. Moloney died August 19, 1994.
Mr. Moloney is survived by his nephew Thomas J. Maloney and his wife Candi of Kissimmee, FL and a niece Helen, his sister in law Jean Maloney of Lakeland, FL and several friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a brother, Michael Maloney.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private.
