Francis C. Christian, 79, a long-time resident of Patterson, NY passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel, NY.
Frank was born on February 16, 1939, to the late Francis Joseph Christian and Margarete Hannahan, he served in the US Army and was an NYC transit policeman for many years, of which he was very proud.
On May 7. 1966 he married the former Elizabeth O’Neill who survives at home.
Frank enjoyed his home in Patterson and was very proud of it. He was a member of the Patterson American Legion, St. John’s Church, Pawling, and a former member of St. John’s Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Francis P. Christian and wife Colleen of Holmes, NY, William E. Christian of Patterson, NY, and Michael K. Christian and wife Diane of Mountain Home, ID; and three grandsons, Ryan J. Christian, Kyle F. Christian, and Dylan C. Christian.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 13th at 10 AM at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
