Obituary, Kelly Lynn Elderkin Perry

Kelly Lynn Elderkin Perry, 40, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on June 4, 2018, along with her beloved husband, John A. Perry.

She was born in Rhinebeck and was the daughter of the late William H. Elderkin III and surviving mother, Brenda S. Golden (nee Allbee).

Mrs. Perry owned and operated Kelly Perry Housekeeping in Clinton Corners.

She enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors and with family and friends. She also supported causes that were important to her by walking in many charity events.

Kelly was a member of the Reach Out Church in Hyde Park.

Survivors include her mother, Brenda Golden; her poppa, Henry ‘Bucky’ Golden; son, Dustin James Perry; brother, Christian Golden and wife, Sarah; brother, William Elderkin IV and wife, Brandi; niece, “Lilly Pie”; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial calling hours for her, her husband, and nephew, Michael Lasher, will be from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, June 16th at the Reach out Church, 241 Crum Elbow Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538. (www.reachoutchurch.com)

A memorial service for the three of them will follow at 1 pm at the church with Pastor Carl Forster officiating.

Burial of her ashes will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorial donations to her son, Dustin Perry , c/o Sweet’s Funeral Home, PO Box 682, Hyde Park 12538.
