LOCAL VETERANS INVITED TO HORSE RESCUE GALA

AT NO COST

Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue founder Deanna Mancuso has been working with clients including local veterans suffering from PTSD and other issues for many years. Mancuso and her horses have helped many work to find peace and well being through the use of equine-assisted therapy.

On June 2nd, LOHR will be celebrating a ten year anniversary for the sanctuary with their Ponies and Pearls Gala that includes live music, chef inspired cuisine and a special award to local business owner Ian Holback of Harlem Valley Sand and Gravel.  Now, through a generous grant from an anonymous donor, local veterans are invited to come to the farm and enjoy the evening’s festivities without cost.

This gift was made to Lucky Orphans in honor of 2018 being named the Year of the Veteran by County Executive Marcus Molinaro in conjunction with the Dutchess County Historical Society.  This declaration coincides with the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War I.  Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.

Veterans may reserve a seat on a first come first served basis by calling Deanna Mancuso at (845)416-8583.  Additional tickets can be purchased online for $150.00 per person at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/?cookie_header=1.  The event will be held on site at the Lucky Orphans Rescue’s new indoor ring in Dover Plains from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm.  An After Party with music provided by Nashville’s own Jay Taylor including snacks and drinks is only $50.00 per person.
