Obituary, Patrick V. Pesce

Poughquag – Patrick V. Pesce, 86, a resident of Poughquag since 1992 and previously of Hartsdale, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at home after a long illness.

Born on August 31, 1931, in New York City, Patrick was the son of Michael and Angelina (DeMarinis) Pesce. On December 27, 1952, in New York City, Patrick married the love of his life, Evelyn Levesque, who predeceased him on May 24, 2008. He worked as a Postal Worker for the United States Postal Service in Madison Square, NYC.

Patrick is survived by his children, Patricia Pesce of Arizona and Michele Casiano and her husband Sigfredo of Poughquag; his grandchildren, David McDermott, Christine Ricci and her husband Daniel, Wilfrid Meneses, Cheryl Meneses and Steven Casiano; his great-grandchildren, Brianna, Alyssa, Veronica and Rebecca McDermott, Aria and Jordan Rabadi, and Aidan Ricci; and his sisters, Frances Pesce, Nellie Cuevas and Angelina Pesce. In addition to his parents and his wife, Patrick is predeceased by his siblings, Tony, Frankie, Leo, Nikki, Margaret, and Fannie.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
