Southeast, New York – On May 21, 2018, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Dennis J. Eisenberg, age 55, of Bronx, NY, for Burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony.

In April of 2018, the New York State Police began an investigation regarding Eisenberg allegedly stealing merchandise from Michael’s on Independent Way in the town of Southeast.  An investigation revealed Michael’s had previously issued a cease and desist order on Eisenberg banning him from all Michael’s stores due to his previous arrests for larceny at Michael’s.  The investigation found that Eisenberg entered the Southeast Michael’s unlawfully, and stole over $2,000 worth of merchandise.

Eisenberg was arraigned before the town of Southeast Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.  Eisenberg is next scheduled to appear before the Court on June 12, 2018, at 1:30 p.m.
