Four from Queens arrested for felony drug possession in Gallatin

Gallatin, New York – On May 21, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Kevin M. Perez, age 24, Jonathan H. Hernandez, age 24, Tatiana Lopez, age 22, and Kevin Mendez, age 22, all from Queens, NY, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 1st degree, a class C felony.

On May 21, 2018, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on a 2011 Nissan for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Gallatin.  Investigation by the Troopers discovered approximately 17 pounds of marijuana.

All four subjects were arraigned before the Gallatin Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  They are next scheduled to appear before the Court on May 23, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
