Millerton – Michael James Murnane, Sr., 44, a lifelong area resident died unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 18, 2018. Mike worked as a painter for New England Painting based in Millerton, NY for many years.
Born February 13, 1974 in Sharon, CT he was the son of the late George P. and Karen L. (Miles) Murnane who resides in Millerton. Mike attended Webutuck High School in Amenia, NY.
In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by two sons, Michael Murnane-Caranci and Brandon Murnane-Tripp; three brothers, Reginald Hough of Ancram, George Murnane, Jr. of Westchester County and Daren Murnane of Millerton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, from 10-11am at 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. Funeral services will take place at 11 am at the funeral home. Pastor William Mayhew will officiate.
