Virginia man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

On May 18th, 2018, New York State Police out of the Liberty barracks charged Ayres B. Gray of Chase City, Va., with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.

On May 18th, 2018, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Troopers stopped a Cadillac Escalade for erratic operation on State Route 17 in the town of Liberty. During the course of the traffic stop, it was determined that the operator, Ayres B. Gray, was driving while intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Liberty barracks for processing. He submitted to a chemical test which showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.25%.

Mr. Gray was arraigned in the town of Rockland and released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
