Franklin Woman Charged With Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance

PRESS RELEASE

On May 17th, 2018, New York State Police Wurtsboro charged Danielle M. Conte of Franklin, NY with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.

 On May 17th, 2018, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Troopers stopped for a disabled vehicle on the shoulder of State Route 17 in the town of Thompson. Upon the interview of the operator, Danielle M. Conte, Troopers observed crack/cocaine in plain view inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and several glass pipes containing crack/cocaine residue were located. Ms. Conte was placed under arrest and transported to SP Wurtsboro where she was processed.

Ms. Conte was arraigned in the town of Thompson and remanded to Sullivan County Jail.
