Long Eddy Man charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs

On April 18th, 2018, New York State Police out of the Liberty barracks charged Zachary W. McCarthy of Cochecton, NY with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

On April 18th, 2018, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Troopers stopped a Saturn Ion for multiple traffic violations on State Route 55 in the town of Liberty. During the course of the traffic stop, it was determined that the operator, Zachary W. McCarthy, was driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Liberty barracks where he was processed.

 Mr. McCarthy was issued the appropriate traffic tickets and is set to appear in the town of Liberty Court on April 25, 2018.
