Madeline D. Tremmel, of Sherman, CT, died peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018, in New Milford, CT. She was 90 years old.
Born on September 18, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Augustino and Santina (Giancola) Perna. In October 1953 at St. Pascal Bylon Church, Queens, NY she married the love of her life, Joseph L. Tremmel.
Madeline is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph, and her three children; Michael Tremmel (LuAnn) of New Milford, CT, Theresa Schaffer (Stephen) of Bethel, CT and Patricia Allen (Thomas) of New Milford, CT, her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 10 am at 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT. A memorial visitation will be held following the service ending at 12 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
