The Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health will be hosting two important public forums next week to discuss Mental Health Services. Your input about what services are working and what other services are needed is critical as we develop Dutchess County’s 2019 Service Plan. Please join us!

  • Monday, May 7th – Mental Health Services for Children & Youth with Emotional Issues and/or Chemical Dependency Forum – Learn about 24/7 crisis services, help for families suffering with addiction, care management, prevention services and more.
  • Tuesday, May 8th – Mental Health Services for Adults Forum – Get updates on housing changes for the mentally ill, links to community services, help for people living with both mental illness and addiction, and services for veterans dealing with mental illness.

Each of the forums will be held from 4-6pm at the Dutchess County Behavioral and Community Health’s Mental Health Campus at 230 North Road in Poughkeepsie. Please use Entrance #1. Forums will be held in Room C-104.

Both forums will have opportunities to talk to service providers and learn about Dutchess County’s 24/7 mental health services including HELPLINE and Stabilization Center.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to share your input, please share your comments at dutchessny.gov/PublicComments or mail to: Public Forum Comments, DBCH, 230 North Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
