Experience the energy of A Drum Circle!
Drum Circles bring together a highly interactive group of people who play drums and percussion instruments together to create in-the-moment music. With playful and accessible rhythm activities, games, traditional ensemble pieces, songs and most importantly improvisation.
Otha Day facilitates fun and lively drum/rhythm circle events from the deep belief that rhythm has the power to build community, promote well-being and create joy. Working with groups of participants from 4 to 400, he supports awareness of the presence of rhythm in every act of living knowing that “your HeartBeat is the Rhythm of your soul.”
This is a free event. No experience is necessary and all ages can participate. The event will be held outside, weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair. In event of rain, the event will take place inside the Community room of the Library
“If you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm and you can drum!”
