Caitlyn Halvorsen of Millbrook is a member of the cast and crew of “Avenue Q”

NEW PALTZ, NY (04/18/2018)– SUNY New Paltz student Caitlyn Halvorsen of Millbrook, N.Y. is a member of the cast and crew for the SUNY New Paltz production of “Avenue Q”.

“Avenue Q” is a laugh-out-loud musical acted by human performers animating puppets. It is part flesh, part felt, and packed with heart – a coming-of-age story that follows a recent college graduate as he moves into a shabby New York apartment and experiences “the real world” of adulthood for the first time, meeting eccentric new neighbors who share in his struggle to find fulfillment in contemporary society.

Performances of the production, directed by Bria Walker, assistant professor of theatre art, will take place April 19-21 and April 26-28 at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinee performances at 2 p.m. on April 22 and 29 in McKenna Theatre.

Tickets are $20 general public; $18 senior (62+), SUNY New Paltz faculty/staff, SUNY New Paltz Alumni and non-New Paltz students; and $10 for SUNY New Paltz students.
