Obituary, Jean Frances Judson Bardua

 

Jean Frances Judson Bardua, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018.

She was born on May 19, 1928, in Sharon, CT to the late Roland and Hazel Wilken Judson.  On September 9, 1946, she married Donald G. Bardua who died on September 3, 1994.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Donna Bardua of Cary, NC and Diane Alpren (Norman) of Long Beach, NY and her sons, Edward (Karen) Bardua of Pawling, NY and David (Rene’) of Wake Forest, NC, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Bardua of Palm Coast, Fl.   She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Osorio (John), January Baron (Dave), Dana Aguilar (Ivan), Adam Alpren (Amy), Todd Bardua, Chad Bardua (Gina), Evan Bardua (Trisha), Andy Bardua, Hunter Bardua, and Logan Bardua; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Wayne Bardua, and her three sisters, Wanda Judson, Carol Wilkinson, and Norma Spinner.

She loved her family and will be truly missed.

Jean worked for many years at the office of Dr. George Coulter and was a very active member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Pawling, the Pawling Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and was a volunteer in the Human Resource Department at New Milford Hospital, New Milford, CT for almost 20 years.

A memorial service will be held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 22 Coulter Avenue, Pawling, NY 12564 on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at the Pawling Cemetery.
