Wallkill man charged with Grand Larceny by Extortion

On 4/11/18 State Police at Highland arrested KENNETH H RALPH age 23 of Wallkill NY for the following charges:  Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class E Felony) Attempted Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class A Misdemeanor), Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree (Class A Misdemeanor) and Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor.

The investigation revealed that RALPH did meet several female victims. all under the age of 21, via Social Media and provided them alcohol.  After the encounter, RALPH would extort or attempt to extort monies from the women.  The State Police in Highland were assisted by the New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit, SUNY New Paltz University Police and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office.

Ralph was arraigned in the Town of New Paltz Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail pending a further court appearance.
