On March 20, 2018, Jeffrey Barmen was arrested for Rape 1st after an indictment was issued by a Columbia County Grand Jury. Jeffrey Barmen was arraigned in the Columbia County Court in front of Judge Richard M. Koweek and remained to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash S10000 bond.
The investigation revealed that Barmen committed the offense in March 2017 in the Town of Kinderhook.
