Lagrange man arrested for assault following a domestic dispute

Lagrange, New York – On March 11, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Shaheer H. Ali, age 20, of Lagrange, for Assault in the 2nddegree, a class D felony, and Menacing in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
On March 11, 2018, Troopers responded to Bray Farm Lane in the town of Lagrange for a domestic dispute. An investigation determined Ali struck the victim with a copper pipe and then menaced the victim with a BB gun.
Ali was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.
