Obituary, Dorothy Hohn Williams

 

 

Poughquag – In loving memory of Dorothy Hohn Williams, born in Henderson, North Carolina on November 26th, 1931 and departed this world on Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was a long resident of Poughquag, New York.

She retired from the United States Postal Service in 1997. She was involved with the Democratic Committee and once ran for a local office in her community. She will be missed by many. Those we love don’t always go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, but always near, still loved, still missed and forever dear. Mrs. Williams, is what she liked to be called, is joining her parents, Charlie and Cora Hohn, brother Melvin Hohn, sisters Olivia Hohn Peterson, Sarah Hohn Martin, (Mary Hohn Williams and Marian Hohn White and sons James Thomas Ward Jr. and Joseph Royce Ward. She is survived by her sister Edna Hohn Harris, daughters Sharon Diane Ward Bush, Taj Wilson and La Ronna Monique Ward & (Todd) Abrams and sons Sa’id Sharif & (Mary) Abdullah and Jeffrey Scott & (Tammy) Ward along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
