...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING
TO 7 PM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to
  16 inches, with localized amounts up to 20 inches in the
  Berkshires and Green Mountains, are expected.

* WHERE...Southern Vermont, northwestern Connecticut, western
  Massachusetts, and Washington County and the Taconics of
  eastern New York.

* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 PM EST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on very difficult travel conditions,
  including during the evening commute today. Snowfall rates of 1
  to 3 inches per hour are possible this afternoon into early
  tonight. Northerly winds gusting to 30 mph this afternoon into
  early tonight may result in isolated power outages. Be prepared
  for significant reductions in visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
