Claverack teen arrested for assaulting Brookwood Secure Center staff

Claverack, New York – On February 16, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Nahquez Johnson, age 16, of Claverack, for Assualt while Confined in a Correctional Facility, a class D felony.
On February 16, 2018, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Johnson assaulted two employees at the Brookwood Secure Center in Claverack.
Johnson was arraigned before the town of Claverack Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
