Connecticut man arrested for burglary in Dover

Dover, New York – On February 13, 2018, the New York State Police from the Dover Plains barracks arrested Leslie G. Vannostrand III, age 29, of Waterbury CT, for Burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony.

On July 13, 2017, Troopers responded to Halls Corners Road in the town of Dover for a report of a burglary of a dwelling.  An investigation determined that Vannostrand illegally entered a residence and stole valuables including, credit cards, jewelry, and U.S. currency.  A warrant for the arrest of Vannostrand was issued by the Dover Court, and on February 13, 2018 Vannostrand was located by Waterbury Police Department in Connecticut.

Vannostrand was arraigned before the town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
