Obituary, Charles E. Ivers, Jr.

 

EAST FISHKILL – Charles E. Ivers, Jr., 86, passed away at his home on February 13, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Chuck was born in NYC on November 17, 1931, to the late Charles E. Ivers and Marie Spinner-Ivers. He was raised in Larchmont, NY and he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

On June 30, 1962, he married his wife Patricia Ann Manning at Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle. He worked at IBM as a Systems Analyst until his retirement in 1992.

Chuck loved helping people and was a life member of the East Fishkill Fire Department and Rescue Squad. He was also a volunteer for the Office of the Aging delivering meals.

Survivors include his wife Patricia; his son, Charles III of LaGrange; and his daughter Suzanne Brophy of Clermont. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Lauren Ivers. He was predeceased by his son, Matthew Thomas Ivers.

There will be no calling hours. The burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
