Pawling Man Charged with Child Pornography

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center report the arrest of Felipe M. Ramon, age 30 of Pawling, on 2/13/18 in connection with a recent investigation into child pornography.
At this time Mr. Ramon is accused of soliciting pornographic photos from, and sending photos to, a child less than 17 years old via social media sites and a cell phone. The victim is known to Mr. Ramon, and all further details about them and the case are being withheld to protect their privacy.
Mr. Ramon has been charged with nine (9) counts each of (A) Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, (B) Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, and (C) Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child. All of the charges are felonies, and after being arraigned at the Town of Pawling Court Mr. Ramon was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.If anyone has any information about this case or similar incidents involving Mr. Ramon they are urged to contact Deputy Ben Sistarenik at (845) 486-3778.
