Obituary, Thomas C. Romano

Amenia – Thomas C. Romano, 86, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, at his home in Scottsdale, AZ. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan A. Romano. Tom also leaves behind his daughter Tami J. Romano, MD, Scottsdale, AZ; son Thomas G. Romano (Rhonda) Romano, St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Zachary and Kelsey Sease; Michelle Romano Armstrong (Richard) and Megan Romano; and great-grandchildren Thomas and Teagan Armstrong. He is also survived by his sister Ann Payne, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and he was beloved by them all. Tom was born May 1, 1931, in New York to Thomas and Sylvia Romano and served in the US Army from 1956-1958 stationed in Europe. He was a business owner in Connecticut before his retirement to Arizona. Tom’s memorial will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix.
