Carmel, New York – On February 5, 2018, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested David Eldredge, age 54, of Redgranite, Wisconsin, for Grand Larceny in the 2nd degree, a class C felony.

Investigators began an investigation into the possible embezzlement of funds from the Children’s Bible Fellowship (CBF) in July of 2017 after CBF officials discovered and reported the larceny.  The investigation revealed that during Eldredge’s approximately 12-year tenure as the Chief Financial Officer of Children’s Bible Fellowship located in the Town of Carmel, Eldredge stole more than $100,000.  The funds were redirected to pay for Eldridge’s personal expenses.
