A vehicle similar to this Dodge pickup truck may have fled the scene of the fatal hit and run in Amenia

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the driver of a 2003-2006 dark-colored Dodge pickup truck with damage to the front passenger side. The truck is believed to have been involved in a fatal hit and run on Bog Hollow Road in the Town of Amenia, Thursday at around 8 p.m..

Concetta Eastman 36, of Copake, was in the process of getting into her vehicle, which was parked on the edge of Bog Hollow Road, at the time of the crash. Eastman was seriously injured when police arrived to the scene of the auto-pedestrian accident, which took place near the Connecticut border. The dark-colored pickup truck then fled the scene.

Eastman was transported to Sharon Hospital in Connecticut where she later died, police said.

The truck said to be involved in the crash was last seen traveling southbound on Bog Hollow Road, according to police. No information is currently known about the driver.
