Two Lloyd men arrested for possession of cocaine in Pleasant Valley

Pleasant Valley, New York – On January 27, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Tyler J. Bugbee, age 22, and Adam J. Cardella, age 21, of Lloyd, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony.  Cardella was additionally arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.

On January 27, 2018, at approximately 9:34 p.m., Troopers stopped a 2005 BMW for an infraction of the vehicle and traffic law on Route 44 in the town of Pleasant Valley.  A strong odor of marijuana was detected during the interview of the occupants and the subsequent investigation yielded a combined approximate weight of 4 grams of cocaine.

Bugbee and Cardella were both arraigned before the Pleasant Valley Court.  Cardella was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.  Bugbee was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
