Greenport man arrested for rape of a thirteen-year-old

Kinderhook, New York – On January 22, 2018, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Investigator attached to the Columbia Greene Child Advocacy Center in cooperation with the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office, arrested Bryan A. Graham, age 20, of Greenport, for Rape in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, Sexual Abuse in the 2nddegree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both class A misdemeanors.

The investigation revealed that Graham had started an online relationship with a thirteen-year-old victim in late 2016.  This later lead to a sexual encounter between the victim and Graham early 2017.

Graham was arraigned before the town of Greenport Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  Graham is next scheduled to appear before the town of Kinderhook Court on January 26, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.
