Lakeville – Deborah Lynn Wheeler, 54, a lifelong area resident passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, in Lakeville, CT. Debbie worked as a self-employed property caretaker, landscaper, bookkeeper and cleaned houses in the North West Corner for many years.
Born December 24, 1963, in Sharon, CT she the daughter of the late William D. Hopkins and M. Helen Hopkins who resides in Millerton, NY. Debbie graduated from Webutuck High School and furthered her education at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY where she received an associate degree in business accounting. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching NASCAR events on television.
In addition to her mother, Debbie is survived by her brother, William D. Hopkins and his wife Claudia of Anderson, SC and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 5-7pm at 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. All other services will be private.
