Queens woman arrested after attempting to smuggle drugs into Green Haven Correctional Facility

Beekman, New York – On January 13, 2018 the New York State Police from the Lagrange barracks in conjunction with New York State Corrections Officers arrested Anna C. Whitworth, age 28, of Queens, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4^th degree, a class C felony, and Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1^st degree, a class D felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.

On January 13, 2018, Troopers were called by New York State Corrections Officers at Green Haven Correctional Facility regarding a report of drug possession.  An investigation revealed Whitworth attempted to bring crack-cocaine, marijuana, and a quantity of unknown pills into the Green Haven Correctional Facility.
